A beautifully appointed, mid-terrace former quarrymans cottage near Blaenau Ffestiniog situated on the roadside at Manod, a mile from Snowdonia National Park and 20-25 mins drive from sandy beaches. With lovely views from the rear, this Blaenau Ffestiniog cottage has a small garden with a bench and is ½ mile or so from shops, pubs and hotels. Double and single bedrooms, bath/shower room, fitted kitchen/diner and a good-sized sitting room with woodburner in the stone fireplace. Washing machine, freezer, music centre, TV, DVD player and gas central heating. A popular area for walking and mountain biking, Ffestiniog Railway, Slate mines, Portmeirion or Betws-y-Coed 10 miles. Harlech or Black Rock Sands 10-12 miles. No smoking inside. Towels available @ £2 per person per week. Short breaks: min 3 nts and no Fri arrivals between Apr-Oct.

This is a typical terraced cottage with access directly off the pavement; there is one step at this point. It is usually possible to park directly outside although this is restricted to 1 hour between 8am and 6pm with return prohibited within 60 mins. To the rear of the property there is a parking space with access to the back garden down a set of steps with handrail; we think this would be unsuitable for both the infirm and very young children. A path will take you to the rear door of the cottage (approx 750cm wide) with one further step to gain access. On the ground floor there is a small lobby leading to a living room which has stairs leading up to the bathroom and bedrooms. The staircase has a handrail to one side and a turn at the top. The double bed in the rear bedroom is accessible on one side only as is the single bed in the second bedroom, the door to the single bedroom is approx 700cm. The bathroom is compact and is accessed by a 700cm wide door. The shower is fitted above the bath. The kitchen has power points at work top level and a table and stools. All electric power points are at approx 450mm and light switches at 1200mm, the paintwork throughout is mainly cream with woodwork/doors etc in natural wood. Lighting is good throughout with bedside lamps in both bedrooms. The cottage is carpeted apart from the lobby, kitchen & bathroom which have vinyl flooring; there are also scatter rugs in some rooms. TV comes with remote control.
