The middle of three cottages near Llanfairfechan converted from C17th farm buildings on the yard of the owner's small farm in a fabulous position 1 ½ miles up a steep track from Llanfairfechan, looking to Anglesey and Puffin Island from outside. This is within Snowdonia National Park, between Bangor and Conwy (8 miles), 2 miles coast. An interesting conversion (the owner is an artist and offers lessons by arrangement), this llanfairfechan cottage has beamed ceilings, sealed wooden floors and pine panelling. Small kitchen/diner with French windows, sitting room with woodburner, ground floor bath/shower room. Double and twin 'loft' style bedrooms lead from either side of central staircase with curtained entrances. Washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD player, central heating; access to freezer. Carriage driving by arrangement. Non-smokers preferred. Towels available @ £5 per person per week.

This cottage is situated on a Welsh hill farm. The car park is made of compacted earth and quarry waste. The surfaces outside the cottage are finished with 40mm slate pieces on either a concrete or compacted substraight. External doors: two narrow doors lead to a small lobby with shallow irregular steps. All internal doors in the property are 2ft 6 ins wide. Flooring: downstairs, there is tongued and grooved wooden sealed flooring with rugs. The kitchen floor is quarry tiled. Stairs and bedrooms have fitted carpets and restricted headroom. Lighting: outside there is a light with a PIR. In the lounge there are downlighters and two wall lights with a standard lamp. Upstairs in the bedrooms there are two central spotlights and bedside lights. Stairs: these are approximately 42 degrees in compliance with building regulations. There is a single handrail or hand holds adjacent. A stair gate can be provided if required. Bathroom: there is a shower over the bath with a grab rail.
