Although at the moment it might still feel like winter, the Easter holidays aren’t far away and you might just fancy a break! If you can’t manage a whole week away, Wales Holidays has an excellent selection of cottages and farmhouses in the Swansea and Gower area offering weekend (and mid-week) breaks over the Easter period.A rural location easily reached off the M4 (4 miles) and only 7 miles from Swansea, this high quality pine lodge is one of a pair with plenty of activities for the kids – basket ball net, trampoline, go-karts etc. You’ve also got access to the owner’s 50 acres with woodland and a stream and there’s good walking from the door.
Sleeping 5 in three bedrooms, the lodge has open-plan living space with French windows out to a deck. The village of Bryncoch is 1 mile away and there’s local golf and a leisure centre. It’s only 7 miles to the nearest beach, the Blue Flag beach at Aberavon, and a little further to Mumbles and on to the fabulous Gower coastline.
A three-night short weekend break is available for £220 and four nights are @ £271.
Wales Holidays Reference is Y170.
