Staying in a former cowshed may not sound too inspiring but you can enjoy an action packed holiday on this farm near Neath, some 5 miles off the M4 and 8 miles north of Swansea or from the Blue Flag beach at Aberavon.These three similar, single storey cottages – each sleeping 4 in two bedrooms and with useful C21st conveniences such as iPod dock and underfloor heating – share large gardens and visitors are welcome to walk the farm, where the owners keep horses and sheep.
Quad biking, trekking and 4x4 lessons can be taken on the land and the renowned Afan Argoed mountain biking centre is only 8 miles away. There’s local golf, leisure centres and Swansea for marina, cinemas, shopping and nightlife. And the beautiful beaches of the Gower peninsula are within easy reach.
