In a recent survey on cottages holidays, not one dog disagreed with the statement that Wales Holidays cottages and farmhouses were best for pets. Yehudi the Yorkie said “the biggest advantage is that I go free – there is no charge for me. Of course, one has to pay for ones owners but they have been very well behaved recently and deserve a break!”
One example for Yehudi to consider in the Swansea and Gower areas is a cottage sleeping four in three bedrooms with a wood burner in the sitting room and French windows out to a decked area.
The garden at the rear of this cottage has decking on different levels (some gated), stepping down to a canal side sitting area; the tow path is on the opposite side of the canal, reached by a bridge some 300m down the road.
In spite of its watery location, Yehudi the dog is welcome at the comfortable cottage and will hopefully enjoy the locality! There’s a large forest opposite, footpaths and waterfalls from the door, it’s on the National Trail ‘St Illtyd’s Walk’ and is close to the Brecon Beacons and Afan Argoed Country Park.
Travelling a little further afield, the coast at Aberavon is only 9 miles away and Swansea and Gower are within easy reach.
Wales Holidays Reference is Y188.
When doing a search on our web site, click on “Pets: Yes”. ‘Pet by arrangement’ in the description heading means please check with us if Yehudi will be acceptable to the owner of the cottage – just phone or email us.
