Wales Holidays has an excellent selection of cottages and farmhouses available on the Gower during the February Half Term week and all are at the Low Season prices.One example is a converted stone barn, mostly single storey, in a small courtyard of cottages at Oxwich Green, within ½ mile (hilly!) of Oxwich beach on the south Gower coast and 13 miles from the centre of Swansea (shops, cinemas, excellent museums, marina, leisure centre, etc.).
Oxwich has a castle, pottery and nature reserve and is close to Penrice castle and forest walks, Horton, Port Eynon and Rhossili for surfing and windsurfing.
The cottage has double and 5’ double bedrooms and an 'attic' twin room; bath/shower room, fitted kitchen/diner and a lounge with a wood burner, TV and DVD. It is equipped with a washing machine, fridge/freezer and night storage heaters.
The price for the half term week is £355 or £230 for three nights, £284 for four.
