As the London 2012 Olympics approaches, the National Parks of Wales invite Wales Holidays visitors to enjoy some of Wales’ most inspirational, beautiful and breathtaking landscapes.
Whilst running 26 miles, high jumping over hedgerows or swimming in lakes is not obligatory, the three National Parks in Wales offer alternative options to those wishing to escape the hurly burly of daily life, or who just want to get a bit fitter for summer.
The National Parks have so many different walking experiences to offer, whether you’re an absolute beginner or an experienced hill walker. Take in the high peaks of Snowdonia and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons (or indeed the gentle canal side strolls), or revel in the stunning beauty of Pembrokeshire, Britain’s only coastal national park.
London might have the Olympics, but Wales’s National Parks have different types of track and field events that you might enjoy just as much!
