In a recent survey on cottage holidays, not one dog disagreed with the statement that Wales Holidays self-catering cottages were best for dogs! One hound was quoted as saying that “the biggest advantage is that I go free to a Wales Holidays dog friendly cottage – there is no charge for me. Of course, one has to pay for ones owners but they have been very well behaved recently and deserve a break!” -

The Tour of Britain 2010 will be returning to Wales for the first time since 2004 with Stage 3 taking place between Newtown in Mid Wales and Swansea. The race starts in the North West of England on Saturday 11 September, the stage in Wales is on Monday 13 September and the Tour finishes in London on 18 September giving Britain’s cycling fans a first chance to see Team Sky take on the world’s best on British roads.
