Glyndwr’s Way, awarded National Trail status in 2000, is a Mid Wales path running southwest from Welshpool to Machynlleth and then back to Knighton. It passes through some spectacular rolling scenery and over the sites of many battles fought by Owain Glyndwr. Machynlleth, the historic town at its mid-point, is where Glyndwr was crowned Prince of Wales and established his parliament in 1404. -
