Pack your bags for a trip to this wonderful apartment by the sea that offers a great base for a small family or a couples’ trip, and whoever you invite is sure to have an amazing time. You’ll be staying in the gorgeous coastal town of Saundersfoot, 100 metres from a beautiful beach, with plenty of seaside activities to keep everyone occupied.

Climb a short flight of stairs to reach this property, which is set all across one level. The landing offers access to a combined kitchen, lounge and dining area, and the two bedrooms. Everyone can spend time together in the living area, which has space to cook, eat and socialise, and is welcoming with matching wooden floors and furniture. The bedrooms are made up of a double room and a king zip-and-link which can be made into a twin set on request when booking. A contemporary bathroom completes the interior of the apartment. On warm evenings, head to the garden for space for children to play and enjoy an al fresco dinner while looking to the sea.

Saundersfoot is an enchanting area with plenty to offer, in particular its beautiful beach for evening strolls or sandcastle building. If you’d like to get on (or in) the sea, there are plenty of places to hire water sports equipment and organise lessons in surfing, paddleboarding and kayaking. As you explore the town you’ll find lots of cafes, restaurants and places to enjoy fresh fish or Welsh delicacies. If you’d like to learn about the history of Wales, take a trip to Tenby, 4.5 miles away, where there’s a 14th-century castle and old town walls with lots of stories to tell. While you’re there, head to the harbour for boat trips around a nearby island and opportunities to see wild seals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin and found it to be a perfect location for the restaurants, shops and beach. Having a parking space was also very handy!! The cleaner /staff could not have been more helpful!!

Perfect little flat for a beach holiday, small but it had everything we needed and felt clean and high end. and we loved sitting in the garden. Really clear instructions before we arrived and I appreciated the communication before we got there.

We use Original Cottages regularly as they offer a great range of properties in our choice of destinations. Prices are typically in the region for the times we book, limited by when we can as we are both teachers. This was the second time we stayed at The Dolphin in Saundersfoot. Its in a great location for the town, surrounding areas and where we Read morewanted to visit. The facilities at the property was sufficient for our stay, though living/dining/kitchen area is bijou to say the least. Having parking space (a short walk from the property) is very useful, as otherwise, parking space nearby and in the public car park, is usually full very quickly. I will heartily recommend The Dolphin for others to stay if visiting Pembrokeshire, as I do The Royal Oak pub and Harbwr for food, which are both a very short walk from the property. Hide

Dolphin is ideally positioned close to the centre of Saundersfoot. The flat is well equipped, lacking just a dishwasher maybe. Everything else in the flat is of the highest standard. Powells Cottages were so very helpful in dealing with our issues and sorting out alternative accommodation.
